Many of us have fears in life for some of us it is the rejection by others, the dark or even skateboarding. We fear embarrassment when falling of the board, getting hurt attempting a trick, etc. The problem with these fears is that they hold us back from ever achieving our goals. They hold us back and delay even stepping on the board to begin with. Momiji Nishiya is a 13 year old skateboarding Olympic champion. I am sure she too had fears when starting skating, it is perfectly normal but look at the things she has been able to achieve by overcoming that fear. All it takes is practice and patience.
